Is this it?

That question deserves more than a coping strategy. I help people find something worth fighting for — a little joy, a little vitality, a life that actually feels like theirs.

The Heart of my Work

The people I work with are often high-functioning, reflective individuals who are carrying a lot. Successful in many areas of their lives, but struggling with patterns in relationships, emotional overwhelm, a realization about how disconnected they are from themselves, or a sense of feeling stuck despite their insight and effort. Others come simply wanting to focus on growth: understanding themselves better, showing up differently, and working toward things that matter to them.

Our work focuses on slowing things down, understanding what’s happening beneath the surface and what’s getting in the way, and working through what’s showing up so that you can begin to shift how you think, feel, relate, and make decisions.

Change doesn’t happen through quick fixes or just trying to regulate it away. It happens through clarity, honesty, and building the capacity to sit with discomfort and pain. Allowing it to show you what needs to change. This is what leads to meaningful transformation, rather than simply managing symptoms.

If what’s driving your challenges includes shame, self-rejection, self-abandonment, or a sense of not feeling good enough, then coping strategies alone can only take you so far. Real change happens when we begin to understand and work with those underlying experiences, rather than trying to avoid or override them.

Sometimes the work isn’t about constantly needing to heal.
It’s about loosening your grip, and letting life be a little better than you expected.

HOW CAN I HELP

Areas of Work

Individual Therapy

For people navigating pressure, loneliness, grief, and the quiet question of whether this is really as good as it gets.

Some sessions feel heavy, others lighter.

What I can offer is someone who isn’t trying to fix you, manage you, or hurry you toward being okay. Our work is about finding more clarity, more peace, and a feeling that your life means something.

Couples Therapy

Relationships are hard because the things that need to be said are often the hardest to say.

I work with couples navigating conflict, infidelity, communication breakdowns, and modern relationship structures, such as open or polyamorous relationships.

Sometimes I’m the person to hear the thing your partner hasn’t been able to.

Supervision & Professional Work

Clinical supervision and mentorship for developing clinicians: not just the clinical skills, but who you’re becoming as a person, how to build a practice that sustains you, and how to hold this work alongside the rest of your life.

I also work with executives and professionals navigating leadership, pressure, and what it costs to carry a lot of responsibility while maintaining the other aspects of your life.

Carbon Psychology

A Calgary group practice built around depth, integrity, and doing this work well. We believe the trust in the room matters more than the approach.

Community matters to us and it’s something we invest in through fundraising, partnerships, and initiatives that extend beyond the therapy room.

If I’m not the right fit, there are other clinicians within the practice offering a range of perspectives and approaches.

If things feel dark or overwhelming, I will sit in that with you and we’ll work through it, together.

A Little About Me

People tell me I’m the least therapisty therapist.
I’ll take it.
